Yet another start. This last extended hiatus has me at my highest weight ever by 25lbs or so. I have to dig myself out of this hole. It's not making things better.

So, this chapter begins 12/4/13. It will begin imperfectly and end who knows how. It has to be better than what it is now, though.

My ticker is not my final goal. I'm just picking chunks of mass at a time from what seems doable. I have a different visual "on paper" goal with breakdowns by small percentages each month that I think will make a better visual representation for my day-to-day use. I may photo and upload these as I progress.

My Goals:
I have rational, achievable goals. My goal size is more important than having a goal weight. I'd like to be an "average" size 14. I think that's fair.


My Program:
My eating program is primarily paleo. I was mostly dairy and grain-free during the last chapter of what I was eating. I don't eat certain meats due to ethical reasons, and I haven't for so long that the ethical options now available aren't something I've pursued much.

My exercise program has been kicked to the curb. I was kicking my ass for 550-700 cals, 6 days/wk and was fatter than ever. Paleo focuses on short bursts and quick weight training sessions, not putting in 45m/day on some machine. I need to start walking, though.



Personal Information:
I live in Lincoln, NE. I'm going through a lot of those early(ish) mid-life changes: getting divorced, searching for a career. No children, just cats. I also do volunteer work at the local no-kill cat shelter.
