I want to have a healthy attitude towards food and to be able to enjoy all things in moderation. I love to work out--my current exercise obsession is Zumba !! I've lost weight successfully with Weight Watchers and Weigh Down Workshop. Now I'm taking what I've learned from all of the above to develop my own individual exercise & wt loss program, with the support of others in this online community!!

Kirsten,
Thanks for all your advice about being a future zumba instructor. It was very helpful. I added you as a sparkfriend. I think I have read every thread on the zumba instructors team pages! they have all been so helpful. I just got finished reading the thread about zumba instructors taking your class. Very interesting. You know, I stand in the front right behind the instructor for every class. I do it because I want to follow them step by step. Doing the choreography correctly is very important to me. I'm a little "obsessed". It also makes it more challenging. I can see how it would be very distracting to the instructor and other students if the person behind the instructor was doing their own thing. That is something I learned and will take with me tonight when I go to class. Don't upstage the instructor! The only time I want the other students to watch me is when my instructor stops to tie her shoe. which she does every class!! She then says, just watch Tina, while I tie my shoe!! (the girl needs to double knot those shoes)!!! Not sure why I'm telling you all this, I guess I just wanted to let you know that I liked the discussion you all had. Take care, Tina

Yes, a 5K and a Zumba demo in one day and then I wondered why I was so tired the next day! I wrote a blog about liking challenges, but I don't like wearing myself out and am trying to figure out how to pace myself better. But yet, when opportunity knocks? I do think though that if I could increase the class sizes and made more money that I could say "no" a lot easier to so many sewing jobs and that would relieve some of the stress of fitting so much in each day.
Zumba Love, Michele
