All-time high of 245lbs in April 2013 (morbidly obese) - my blood pressure shot up & my IBS ramped up the action (hmmm, couldn't be a connection there could there????).

Enough was enough - I looked around for a solution. Specific Carbohydrate Diet seemed to fit the bill & although a pain because it's really strict, I felt better than I had for years and the weight started coming off easily :-D

BUT, life got in the way (where have you heard that before!). I didn't send my IBS into overdrive just didn't control it as well as I had been. And that allowed my week to creep back up...........

As of 5th June 2015 I am retired and I plan to spend some some of that time getting healthier, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually!

Weight loss goal: 160lbs - still leaves me overweight, but only by a fraction (when I went lower than this before, I looked ill!)

Mini goals:

*225lbs - 20lbs lost - ACHIEVED 8/8/13 but subsequently lost RECLAIMED 25/6/15

* 220.5lbs - 10% body weight lost - ACHIEVED 22/8/13 but subsequently lost

*210lbs - obese rather than severely obese - ACHIEVED 14/11/13 but subsequently lost

*208lbs - 15% body weight lost - ACHIEVED 12/12/13 but subsequently lost

*202.5lbs - halfway there!

Thanks. I haven't been too good. Lots going on and I don't feel like blogging cause it makes me sound like a misery! I am not. Also you know I find it hard to keep finding stuff to say PLUS I am not concentrating as much as I should so weight loss has plateaued - all my own fault. You just take care and let's both get through the next week.

By the by hope you aren't affected by all these storms and high winds.
