I'm 38 years old. I work long shifts, and a lot of hours. Most of it sitting behind a desk. I am 911/Police Dispatcher.

Last week I had to attend a funeral. My suit didnt fit, i was too fat. I had to buy a new one. My knees and back ached after standing too long. I was afraid of squeezing into a chair that was too small, or even breaking one. I was afraid of going to a restaurant and not being able to fit in a booth. Its time for a change, im tired ot feeling like crap, wondering what people are saying behind my back and tired of being afraid to do things like a normal person.

My Goals:
I would like to get back to my fighting weight, 220 lbs. I am hoping to finally test to become a Police Officer within the next year and a half

My Program:
I try to work out every day. Treadmill or Recombent bike for 1/2 hour, Elliptical for 15 minutes, right now.

I also am on a 1800 calorie a day diet as suggested by my doctor.

Personal Information:
I'm from the suburbs of Detroit. I have a wonderful girlfriend and two beautiful yellow labs.

Welcome Back!
Starting out with small goals makes it less overwhelming. A little exercise is better than none.
And as you already know being active on your Spark Teams is great way to stay motivated and accountable. Plus, members are so helpful and supportive.
