This journey has been a "Long and Winding Road"....but I'm making good progress. This is a re-do of my intro text....I was looking at this the other day and decided it was time to clean the negativity out of my closet and move on. This summer (2011) will be my 4 year aniversary to the absolutely most wonderful man. I have 2 grown children, a daughter who is a school teacher with almost 2 y/o twin boys and a son who is in the army, currently in Afghanistan with an almost 4 y/o son. So if you weren't counting, that is 3 beautiful grandsons. I found a food plan that works for me, like none other....and it is easy to stick to. I still need to get better with exercise and drinking water....but this is a journey....and I'm realistic enough at 55 y/o to know that there will be bumps....I will just need to keep working the process.

I live in The Colony(north of Dallas Texas), I work in public education, I''m a certified teacher (SpEd)...but work as Technology integration for SpEd. Married with two grown kids, step-daughter in college and 3 grandsons.

I''m a quilter. I love to read the Janet Evanovich books and Sue Grafton...I also enjoy scrapbooking, being on Grandma duty and traveling with my husband.
