I found this quote on pinterest, I think, and it really spoke to me about my weight loss goals.

"If you hang on long enough, your vision will take you forward and your pain won't drag you back."

I have lost and gained weight numerous times. I'm losing it for good this time. I'm losing weight for my health, not necessarily for a dress size, but that would be nice too.

I consider myself to be a Jill of all Trades.

My life changed in 2010 when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Suddenly exercise was not easy and made the hurdle to healthy living much higher. I'm a fighter and I will not give in to this disease.

Let's be friends!

    emoticon emoticon Christmas Joys emoticon emoticon

    Evergreen boughs that fill our homes, with fragrant Christmas scents,
    Hearts filled with the loving glow that Christmas represents;
    Christmas cookies, turkeys stuffed, festive holly berry,
    little faces bright with joy, loved ones being merry;
    emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
    Parties, songs, beribboned gifts, silver bells that tinkle,
    Christmas trees and ornaments, colorful lights that twinkle;
    Relatives waiting with open arms, to smile and hug and kiss us;
    These are some of the special joys, that come along with Christmas.

    If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face.
    And when that person has ugly thoughts every day,
    every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier
    until it gets so ugly you can hardly bear to look at it.
    A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly.
    You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth
    and a double chin, sagging skin and gray & thinning hair.
    But if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face
    like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.& beautiful

    emoticon emoticon emoticon ~~Thanksgiving Poem~~ emoticon emoticon emoticon
    May your stuffing be tasty,
    May your turkey plump,
    May your potatoes and gravy,
    have nary a lump.
    May your yams be delicious,
    May your pies take the prize,
    and may your Thanksgiving dinner
    stay off your thighs.

    Thanksgiving is an emotional Holiday..People travel thousands of miles to be with people who they only see once a year. And then discover once a year is too often.
    ~Johnny Carson~
    You can tell if you ate too much for Thanksgiving when you have to let your bathrobe out.

    emoticon emoticon The Skeleton Thief emoticon emoticon

    A rattle of bones!  Who could it be?
    It is a Skeleton, Looking to see
    If that cauldron of candy we left in the hall
    Might make a good feast at the Skeleton Ball.
    A rattle of bones! Quick, look and see!
    Oh no!  The Skeleton’s stolen our candy!
    Follow the footprints...uncover the clues,
    Find out where the Skeleton, and his crazy crew
    Have taken our cauldron of candied delight.
    We must save our feast on this Halloween night.
