3/21/16 How many restarts will it take? My motivation this time is avoiding a knee replacement that I need. Hopefully with diet and exercise I can put it off! 9/26/15 Need to get my motivation back and start eating healthy and exercising. I have been indulging in too much of everything that is detrimental to my body, i.e. sugar, salt, etc. and not getting in the good stuff. I'm really looking forward to getting back to where I was a few years ago when I felt healthy and alive! 03/22/15 I seem to be going backwards. I will lose 2 lbs one week then gain 2 the next. I have zero willpower and working night shift is making it tough to eat healthy foods. But, those are all excuses so here we go again. 12/30/14 I'm starting fresh, once again! Better to keep trying than to give up. This is where I would normally tell you about all the weight I've lost and gained during my 5 years on sparkpeople. Not anymore. Today I'm forgetting the past and getting on with my new and bright future. I had a hip replacement 2 months ago, today. At 44, I have an artificial body part and I'm finally ok with it. Now I will strengthen the muscles around my new hip so I can get on with my life. I look forward to not only losing the weight but gaining much more. Gaining strength, motivation, self confidence and getting back to me. I WILL DO THIS!!!!!
