I seem to be going backwards. I will lose 2 lbs one week then gain 2 the next. I have zero willpower and working night shift is making it tough to eat healthy foods. But, those are all excuses so here we go again.

I'm starting fresh, once again! Better to keep trying than to give up. This is where I would normally tell you about all the weight I've lost and gained during my 5 years on sparkpeople. Not anymore. Today I'm forgetting the past and getting on with my new and bright future.

I had a hip replacement 2 months ago, today. At 44, I have an artificial body part and I'm finally ok with it. Now I will strengthen the muscles around my new hip so I can get on with my life.

I look forward to not only losing the weight but gaining much more. Gaining strength, motivation, self confidence and getting back to me. I WILL DO THIS!!!!!

Welcome to Sunset Stingrays , Kim, for BlC25. Sounds like you have a good handle on how BLC can help and are ready to work with the rest of the team to see some major progress this round! As a retired RN, I know what those 12-hour night shifts can do to an eating plan. Loved your idea of locking your wallet in the car.
