Getting It Done

I am learning more about myself as I travel this road with Spark People at my side. Still haven't figured out the pleasure that causes me to repeat the behaviors that keep me weighty. I am working on it and will continue to work on it until I am rocking svelte.

My Goals:
Break the habits that have formed over a lifetime - find the pleasure that makes the change lasting

My Program:
Running and riding at least 30 miles per week. Getting some type of muscle training in at least 2 times per week whether it is climbing or P90X. Following the food plan and getting the My Pyramid requirements into my body daily.

Getting out there and meeting more people to get out there and get together with in physical activities.

Personal Information:
I am married to an amazing man who keeps me active and sane. Together we take on the world, a trail, rock, boulder, lake, road and/or mountain at a time.

Life is rough, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks. I'm excited to continue this journey of non-smoking.
So far it has 1. given me more time to do other things and 2. allowed me to run for longer periods of time without having to stop and 3. keeps me smelling clean instead of like cigarette butts all day.

I know what you mean. I am a worry rat myself. I find myself being pretty anxious all day. The only thing that really helps used to be smoking cigarettes...but did that really relieve my anxiety or just keep me preoccupied for 5 minutes...Now working out is what helps me to stop with all the anxiety and worrying.
