My Goals:
I want to lose that last 10-15 lbs. I'm quite happy I've kept off the 35 I lost, but now that I've established a new 'set' weight I'ld like to lose that last bit of fat.

My Program:
I burnt myself out training for a marathon, so I'm restarting my workout to less impact work to ensure I can still be active when I'm 80+.

Personal Information:
I'm a working mother, with two adult children out of school and a new junior high daughter. I'm trying to instill in her a love for healthy physical living.

I need to clarify my last comment. I ran the Skagit Flats HALF last fall... I am done having kids. No more chancing that one! Okay, I also didn't want missing toenails and other body places covered with blood like I witnessed at the San Diego run. No thanks. Yes, I am homeschooling my two youngest. They are at K level right now, so it's super fun to watch their brains process. Yeah, that's a cup of coffee or two worth of conversation, huh? Congratulations on getting your BA in Ed! That is a LOT of work these days! I have two expired teaching certs. I used to say I had a useless teaching degree, but now that I am teaching my own kids, I see that it might be of some worth. Keep pressing on!

Hi! Great to hear from you on my silly blog. You asked what I run for... two things: sanity and weight loss. I got pregnant while training for the San Diego Rock n Roll, so I am shying away from those! Ha! Ran the Skagit Flats last fall. Would love to stick with 10Ks now, but haven't really had time to figure out any nearby. Best wishes for your June run! It will be something you never forget, and finishing will be amazing. Good job!!!

Thanks, I know what you mean. I usually work out 1.75 hours but today I did 2 miles walking and 12-13 minutes/2 miles on the bike. I am a tiny bit sore, but I think I'm ok. Been using lighter weight for longer reps. Feels so GOOD!

I don't go every day either. Might do a swim class later this weekl
