Hi Kimberly, I was just browsing your page. I too am on the Apostolic Ladies team, although I'm not very active on there, it seems to not be as active as my other teams. But anyway, I just wanted to tell you I like what you said about you wanting to give the woman back to your husband that he married. I think that's an awesome way to think. So many of us get a little too comfortable with our husbands, knowing they will love us no matter what. And no matter how much he tells us otherwise, I always fear deep down the man would really want that smaller figure back that he married. Also, I too strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman and I totally agree that "she" would not let herself go like that. I feel that to "her", it would be a little selfish. Anyway, Good luck with your goals. I especially respect your #1 goal to keep God first. But I have faith that you can have the will power and determination to reach your goals, create and live by a whole new healthy lifestyle!!! Keep going, and keep praising! Eva 3634 days ago
Welcome to the 5 foot 3 and under Team! You've found the right place! I'm 5' tall, too. I gained 50 lbs. when I was pregnant, and this type of plan is what helped me lose it. As of last weigh-in, I'm up 9 lbs. since my lowest weight since having my daughter; so I'm trying to catch it early this time. You're going to love SparkPeople - everyone's so positive and helpful, and the program works! 3642 days ago
Welcome~I am so glad you have joined us on Christian bookworms. I will also try to help you on your weight loss journey. You'll be in my prayers. Here is one of the scriptures I hold to showing me that the Lord wants me to make my body 'his temple' healthy.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
I am sure as we walk and talk with God daily that he will holding our hands and walking with us. I sure that he will question are you really hungry for that? Then is up to us to control ourselves. Satan would love for us to fail.
