My Goals:
Short-term: Develop and maintain my new diet and exercise routine over the course of a month.
Long-term: Lose 33 pounds by my 33rd birthday (April 29, 2012).
Longer-term: Overall weight loss goal of 120 pounds...I want to lose an entire person!

My Program:
Diet: Balanced meals that fall within my ranges on my food tracker daily, cutting down on dairy, no soda or fast food. Exercise: cardio 3x a week for a minimum of 30 minutes, strength training 3x a week, yoga, swimming, hiking when my schedule allows. Also dancing and hoping to try Zumba soon. Wellness: 6 hours of sleep a night, journaling, meditation, and working in improving my finances.

Other Information:
Love knitting, reading, movies, sewing, nature. Also a full-time graduate student in an online program.

emoticon emoticon emoticon ANY time is a great time to start...especially with Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!
