Me and my awesome Hubby!
Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
It is my turn to be happy, and now I just have to let myself be!
I am a stay at home mom with 3 beautiful little girls. My oldest just turned 3, next is 2, and my littlest is around 2 months! I never struggled with my weight until I was 18, when I went from 130 to 210 in 2 years, and that was before I had kids. I topped my last pregnancy out at 260. I have lost 25ish pounds since I had her so far, but I still have a long way to go.
After struggling with PTSD and a compulsive eating disorder for 7 years, I got into counseling, and I have changed a lot since then. I am learning to deal with my past and my current stresses in a better way. Notice I say AM LEARNING... I am not there yet.
Update 5/18/12- My girls are getting so big! Littlest is almost 1, Middle almost 3 and oldest almost 4... I am currently pregnant with baby #4, and we find out in a few days whether we are having a boy or another little girl.
I had been doing pretty good on my eating- I hadn't binged in almost 4 months, and then I don't know what happened, but about 2 weeks ago, I just started eating... I know some of it could be pregnancy, but I am trying not to gain very much because I do not want to increase my chances of having Gestational Diabetes... I want to be as healthy as I can be at 247 lbs... I am just going to take it one day at a time, and take what small steps I can right now to better myself... That is all I can do. But I have to get back to being responsible with my food intake, so here I come Sparkpeople... Let's Do this!
My goal is to be the best ME that I can be. Part of that is managing my food intake and exercise, which will result in weight loss... Hopefully... :) My highest was 261, I am in the 240-250 range right now, and my end goal is somewhere between 125 and 140.
Making little goals:
Goal #.25: Stay under 260 with this pregnancy.
Goal #.5: Get back down to 235...
Goal #1: Lose baby weight at 230lbs
#2: 211 is 50lbs down from my highest!
#3: Under 200- (202 is where I sabotaged myself last time and gained almost 60lbs...)
#4: 190 is 50 lost since joining sparkpeople.com
#5: 163 was what I weighed on my wedding day!
#6: 161 is 100lbs down from my highest weight!
#7: 150 is where I think some of my "skinny Clothes" will start fitting again!
#8: 140 100 lbs lost with Sparkpeople.com!
#9: 135 is where I maintained in highschool
#10: 130 I will have cut my weight in half from my highest.
As far as my weight goes, I would li
I have developed a 50+ step "program" to better myself... I am taking little steps to start out with, because I don't want to burn out, and with being pregnant, I can't do a whole lot... But Step 1 is: Start taking vitamins... And that is something I can do... :)
Wouldn't you like to know! lol!
I am a cosmetologist, an artist. I sing at my church. I love photography. But my favorite is being a stay at home mom and a wife. :)

"Though no one else can guarantee your success, you can guarantee it by making the commitment to do whatever you must do.
You can guarantee it with your intention, your focus, your action and your persistence.
Today, tomorrow, in any place, whatever the situation, you can make a difference, for your own life, and for your world.
Grab that opportunity, make the most of it every chance you get, and you'll guarantee your own success."

"Even if the challenges are immense and the obstacles are many, step forward and live the life you choose to live. Your dreams are worth every effort.
Even if you get knocked down again and again, get right back up and get going. With enough persistence, any goal is within your reach.
Even if you can’t see all the way to the end of the road, go ahead and take the first step. Each time you make some progress, you’ll find new ways to make even more.
Even if your results fall short of your expectations, keep making the effort. Each new day brings you more experience, wisdom and effectiveness.
Even if you’ve been deeply disappointed in the past, focus on the positive possibilities. For your future is what you choose to make it now."

On the bathing-tub of King T'ang the following words were engraved:
"If you would one day renovate yourself, do so from day to day.
Yea, let there be daily renovation."
