Journey to a Better Cori

At the end of 2005, I stepped on the scale to the sad realization that my weight had creeped up higher than I had ever known...and far beyond where I ever saw myself. It was amazing how slowly it accumulated. In early 2006, I re-committed to a vegetarian lifestyle and lost 15 lbs almost effortlessly. I've managed to keep it off, but I have 40 more to go and that is why I am here now.

My Goals:
By the time I turn 31 - I want to fit back into that size 8 suit that hangs, ever so hopefully, in my closet.

My Program:
Portion distortion is my main issue(and living with a stringbean who I mistakenly thought I could eat the same as...*sigh*... boys) . I created a "do it yourself" nutrisystem-like plan where I am eating mainly pre-portioned convenience foods frozen entres, 100 calorie packs of snacks etc. Everything I eat goes on my Nutrition Tracker here.

Personal Information:
I live in Langdon, Alberta - a little town east of Calgary. It is truly one of the unknown little jewels in this province. With summer coming, I am looking forward to hiking in the mountains and sketching everything I see into my little Moleskine sketchbook.

Other Information:
I am an avid bookaholic. Mainly fantasy stuff, but I have been known to play inother genres as well. Usually you'll find Lord of the Rings in my hands at least once a year and i am currently working my way through the Xanth series by Piers Anthony.

Thanks! We've been collecting equipment for a long time, adding as we identify a new "need". In the end, it has definitely worked out much cheaper than 5-6 years worth of gym membership fees!

You have a great looking weight room! I wish I had that much equipment. I've got a medicine ball, swiss ball, some light weights, a trampoline, and a step. Oh, and some vids, of course!! You've lost a great amount of weight. Stay motivated and you will reach your goals!
