Going to be Fit in my 40's

My name is Kelly and I'm 40-years-old. I have been a member of Sparkpeople for 2 years and find myself in need of help again in 2013. I did well last year losing weight but starting in September I started the weight gain process again. I find myself now weighing in at 123. I haven't weighed this much in years. My Goals:
1) Lose 18 lbs

My Program:
For my diet I follow the South Beach Diet. I do weight training 3 times a week and walk on the treadmill 3 times a week. I started to slowly add running to my treadmill routine but quickly realized I hate running. I'm going to stick with walking and weight training.

Personal Information:
Thoughts on maintenance:

"There will be occassions where i will overeat. I succeed if i get right back into my healthy habits and not let this start a downward spiral of putting the weight back on. I fail if i let this continue and gain back the weight i worked so hard to lose."

"Maintenance does not mean perfection each and every day of our lives. It means staying in the ballpark. We stay in the game and we manage our foods and activity so that our weight stays within a couple of pounds of our goal weight."

"Maintenance is pretty much following the same diet we've been on and allowing a few extras once in a while"

"Everything I've wanted in life I've had to practice at. Finding the right relationship with food is no different than that...Practice is what you do everyday to achieve what you desire."

Just wanted to say THANKS for your sparkpage! I have been struggling with losing and gaining the same 10 lbs without breaking through the cycle. I read you follow the South Beach Diet guidelines and so I read up on that. It sounds just like what Spark recommends and I totally need help with my sugar cravings. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks! :)
