It's A Process...
I want to lose 154 pounds. I have been here in the past and I love the support and wealth of health and fitness information and support here at Sparkpeople. I have advanced osteoarthritis but I am determined that this is not going to prevent me from exercising along with new eating lifestyle choices. This is a journey I am embarking upon with my daughter, and hopefully - some of you!

My Goals:
My goal is to move into a lifestyle of fitness and flexibility, which to me is a complete transition into a raw foods lifestyle, and one in which I can stretch myself to the limits in yoga practice on a daily basis. In the process, I'd like to heal -via nutrition and exercise- some of my health problems, such as anemia and other absorption deficiencies, thyroid issues and osteoarthritis.
My Program:
Water intake is a must. I add alkaline to my water for the health benefits of having an alkalized body. I keep track of what I am eating and exercise at least 10 minutes a day (for now).
Personal Information:
I live in Schenectady, New York. It has been my home for almost 9 years but I am originally from Danbury, Connecticut. I am the mother of two fledgling adults - a son and a daughter. I am an artist and a poet...among other things.
