In July 2011, I moved from a walking city to a non-walking city and packed on 17 pounds. I now (writing in July 2012) want to get back to my goal weight, which I have not been in 5 years. I want to feel good about my body and good in my body.

Some goals/rewards:

Lose 10 pounds: buy a few new shirts (I really need them but feel guilty about spending the money. I figure if it is a reward for an accomplishment I won't feel so bad!)

Lose 15 pounds: new set of make up brushes and eyeshadow palette

Lose 20 pounds: ?

Lose 25 pounds: ?

Reach goal weight (155): ?

My Program:
Making exercise a priority and making better food choices while fully utilizing the sparkpeople website.

Personal Information:
Born and raised in upstate NY, then Boston for 8 years, then NYC for 2.5 years, now transplanted 3000 miles away in sunny San Diego! I've been here a year now and it's been great. I miss home, but not that much. ;-)

Happy Friday! Control is a tough issue for a lot of us. We can control some of what we do, but we can’t control everything! Keep pushing towards your goals. Even if you do not reach all of them, don’t give up! You can alter your goals or make new ones! Do your best to keep a positive and/or realistic attitude. You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL!
