Body After Baby

My baby boy Lewis was born on 9/12/09 and now it is time to get back to reality. I have a lot of baby weight to lose but I have no plans to do anything crazy to lose it. It took 9 months to put it on and I expect it to take just about as long to get the weight off. I'm working with a different set of parameters this go 'round (no more 10 free hours for exercise!) so this will be a challenge. Bring it on!

Lewis is almost 7 months old now and I've lost 50 pounds. 30 more pounds to go in the next 5 months. Once I lose the pregnancy weight, I want to shed another 15 pounds, but first things first. Losing 80 pounds in a year with a newborn and limited time to exercise would be something to be VERY proud of!

Wow! It has been a while huh? I'm still alive and kicking and still working on my body. It has been more than a year since baby was born but I'm not quite back to where I was before. I hit a real drag during the summer but have been going back hard again since August. I am about 7 pounds away from my pre-preggo weight and 20 pounds away from goal! I am *soclose* I can taste it!

My Goals:
- Goal weight of 139 by mid-January at the end of the Precision Nutrition LEP.

- Goal body fat range of 20-23%.

- I want to wear the same size clothes no matter wear I go (stretch doesn't count!).

- I don't want to constantly gain and lose the same weight over and over again. I want to make a permanent change.

- I want to have a lifestyle that allows me to be happy and energetic while maintaining a healthy weight.

I'm originally from Richmond, VA. I've lived in Atlanta, GA for the past 10 years though so I suppose I'm a GA Peach now.

I am a Java programmer and reluctant computer geek. I love to read, listen to music, see Broadway musicals and eat (which of course I do more responsibly now!).

Thanks for the Nike pants suggestions. These are usually my #1 choice as well, but the outlet store is an hour away. I found some nice ones when I was pregnant, but didn't think I would be able to fit into them after I got pregnant. I'm kicking myself for not buying them now!! But, it is close to the holidays. Maybe they will have some on sale soon.
