A new introduction... I've been a member since 2006, but haven't managed to sit and focus long enough to figure out how to make it work for me. I'm trying yet again. I did this about 3 years ago, then got pregnant. My lovely surprise is quite a little handful. I have gained even more weight since then and I am ready to try again. I am working on figuring out what works best for me and what will motivate me more than what stresses me.

I saw your comment to the 5 exercises you shouldn't do. I had the same thing happen and went to a physical therapist. This was in April 2012. They said that the only thing wrong was that a small muscle around my knee was too weak and that I was overcompensating with other muscles when doing leg extensions. I gave up on leg extensions. In May, I started doing a lot of spinning and yoga. By the end of June, my knee was back to normal.
