Thanks for the comment to my blog, Stairs. It seems interesting on the number of things we all seem to go through. Much of it is similar. However, one thing seems to come face to face with me and that is God keeps giving me challenges to go through so I can help others go through them, too. It isn't a job I always want, but He's not asking me that.

    Have a great one.

Thank you for commenting on my blog and your encouragement. The year may be half over but you still have six whole months to rev up your metabolism and motivation. I'll bet your bio family would be happy to help you stay on track just as your spark family.

To answer your Lincoln Hospital question: Lincoln General at 17th & South St. is closest to us. It's where we go when Du's cathether clogs in the middle of the night and we know the ER there very well. Several years ago the city sold Lincoln General to Bryan, so now they call the one on 48th St. Bryan East, and they call the old Lincoln General, Bryan West. I have finally gotten used to calling it that, but for years I still called it General. As Du says, if we like going to Bryan West to the specialty clinic, we will just keep going there even after the one at East is remodeled and opens back up. We schedule out appointments for 11 a.m., so that we can go out to lunch afterwards, that is our reward for doctor appointments. And going to the Bryan West location limits our lunch options unless we are open to traveling further from home, where when we'd go to the 48th St. location, we felt like we could go anywhere for lunch, since we had already traveled so far from home. Yesterday, we went to Tico's (17th & M St.) for lunch, it's our favorite Mexican place, but I no longer order my chili rellenos (the best I have ever had), nor do I eat any of the complimentary chips and salsa. Du knows to put them as far away as possible from me and still leave them on the table. I have their grilled chicken salad, and yesterday I even picked out the croutons, after noting on the WW App, that a package of croutons is 4 points. Who needs croutons anyway???
