Ready for a change

HI Everyone!

Boy has this been a wild ride! I am learning so much from Sparkpeople and Chris' book The Spark! I am eager to keep growing. I can't believe I spent so much time being "mean" to myself over not getting it "right" all these years. It's all just part of the journey and because I've changed my attitude about success I am feeling better about all I've done so far. Here we are in winter #3 with SP and I am hovering at my goal weight. Up a pound one day ...

Boy has this been a wild ride! I am learning so much from Sparkpeople and Chris' book The Spark! I am eager to keep growing. I can't believe I spent so much time being "mean" to myself over not getting it "right" all these years. It's all just part of the journey and because I've changed my attitude about success I am feeling better about all I've done so far. Here we are in winter #3 with SP and I am hovering at my goal weight. Up a pound one day down two the next week....and it's ok because I am making great choices each and every day. Thanks again Spark Friends!

I am so grateful for all the help and support I have received from SP and it's members. I have formed some solid habits and let go of guilt and dispair over slip ups (they get fewer and fewer!)

Although I have lost weight and kept up with exercise pretty consistently, I keep gaining in the winter: over eating for warmth and comfort, less exercise... I don't want to do that again this winter (or ever) so I am starting now to learn and prepare.

Loose 10 lbs and keep off during the winter months. Learn how to recognize proper portions and choose them. Learn how to recognize when my body is satisfied by food and not over eat.

My Program:
For my nutrition I am learning about calories, portion size, choices,,,
For my fitness I am learning new things I can do so I don't get bored with my same old workouts.
