My Goals:
My goal in lbs is about 20, but really its much more than that, I want to feel healthy and strong and set a good example for my children. I'm already well on my way, having lost about 30 lbs and still going! Feeling good, being healthy comes first, but, if I get a butt you can bounce a quarter off of as a side product, I won't complain!!

My Program:
I've been tracking calories but I don't seem to be getting results I get from counting points (ww) so I'm switching back to that for now. Lots and lot's of exercise too!

Personal Information:
I'm Canadian, living in Ottawa, mother of two teenagers,( oh god, writing that seems weird, where has the time gone).

Other Information:
I truly believe that every single person should read "The Secret" it will change you life.

Whenever I am running low on motivation I do a couple things... first off.. I compare pictures of me at my highest weight (and in my case that was prior to Spark people as I lost about 30-40 prior to joining Spark)... and then..I make a list.. of things I can now do that were much harder before (stair climbing...fitting into that airline seat a little easier, etc..) and things that make me feel good...like wearing a smaller size pair of jeans, shopping at "regular people stores", lower blood sugars..etc..). I think back and realize I do NOT want to go backwards on any of that. I also anticipate how much bigger the list could be if I continue on this journey..
And LASTLY.. I imagine the look on my doctors face if I gain any of the weight BACK...hahahahaha...
I think ups and downs are a normal part of this process.. especially when things slow down a little... Maybe change something up..try some new activities or new foods/recipes, etc..
You have done wonderfully so far.. I know just how hard it is... keep up the good work.. !!

If you are looking for a workout or diet buddy in your area I would suggest you check out the team listings by geographic location and look for your state. Join the team and give a shout-out on their message board letting them know what you are looking for. Another suggestion is to use the Spark Page Search/Buddy Finder found under the Spark Pages tab.
