Need something different.
Hi. I'm Kerri. It's the beginning of a new year and I'm just like everyone else with my resolutions... lose weight, save money, get organized, stay in touch with friends, stop procratinating, blah, blah, blah... I want this year to be different. Unless a miracle happens I'm reasonably sure I'll end the year still not happy with the progress I've made on the above list... but I want to know I've maybe done a little something different, or maybe one of them will be worth talking ...
Hi. I'm Kerri. It's the beginning of a new year and I'm just like everyone else with my resolutions... lose weight, save money, get organized, stay in touch with friends, stop procratinating, blah, blah, blah... I want this year to be different. Unless a miracle happens I'm reasonably sure I'll end the year still not happy with the progress I've made on the above list... but I want to know I've maybe done a little something different, or maybe one of them will be worth talking about in terms of success, or I don't know... I'm just tired of the same old thing. I know I can't really whine and complain too much. I am healthy, have some great friends, have a great job, am very active in my community. And I know I really don't have a lot of excuses for not meeting all of my goals above... no husband, no kids (okay one dog that might as well be a kid), no family near by.... This is not to be read as I'm lonely.. I have a great boyfriend and tons of great friends and talk to my family very often on the phone. So what am I going to do different this year? Honestly, I'm still working on that.. but I've made a start. I am kind of following the fast-break program by making 3 goals for myself each week... and emailing them out to my close friends and the friends that I know will give me a hard time. Gotta love those guys! I have all of my "resolutions" in a spreadsheet with "tiny" sub-goals under each one for each month. I'm a numbers person and like marking things off of my list.. so breaking it down weekly and monthly should help a little. And I think I'm going to search on-line for willpower. Anyone have suggestions? How much does that cost? ;-)
