Post workout...gross. Jan 2011
Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
Hi. My name is Tracy. I am 32 years old. I lost over 75 pounds last year then I got pregnant & put on bedrest. I gained over 50 pounds of it back. I'm now two months postpartum & back in the game.
I never imagined it would be so hard to almost start over. I was working out over two hours a day & now I find it difficult to cram in two 30 minute workouts.
I want to be that person again.... I will be that person again.
Update 1/27/11. I lost ALL the baby weight plus I am 10 pounds under my lowest weight before my pregnancy. 180 pounds was my goal but now I'm thinking 155 is more like it. I want that BMI to read normal.
I started with a personal trainer one day a week on 11/22/10 & has been one of the best decisions of my life. I'm in better shape now than I was in high school (on 3 sports teams). My body has completely changed. I barely recognize that person in the mirror. I'm a runner. Who knew? I may not be fast but I never thought that I could go outside & just run 6 miles on a random afternoon...after only 3 months, let me add. Running gives me a feeling of accomplishment almost every time....because I did it. I'm not exactly where I'd like to be with speed but it gives me something to work on. I spend lots of time in the gym because I LOVE it. Really thinking of looking into getting a certification as a fitness instructor. I would love to teach a class...heck, I take 8 a week....why not teach one?
A little more about me....
I don't want to be the fat mom & embarrass my children. I want to be a fit, healthy, active mom.
I don't want to have to start at square one again. I had an Aha Moment the other day and I realized that maybe I depended too much on exercise & just cutting calories to loose the weight. And not enough on changing eating habits. I am trying to become a healthy, clean eater. I try to shop the perimeter of the store rather than the middle where all the bags, boxes, & junk are.
My mother had a massive stroke at the age of 48. She has partial paralysis on her right side & problems with her speech. She wasn't even that heavy. Maybe 175 pounds. My grandmother died at 64 from cardiovascular disease. I already have strict one against me....family history. What the heck is going to happen to me if I don't shape up? It scares me. I want to be there for my husband & my kids. I've pretty much been chubby, fat, whatever you want to call it from the age of 12 or so on. I was always very active with sports but always fat. Great at softball. Could kill the ball & field short stop like crazy but couldn't run as well as I liked. I made the HS volleyball team my freshman year over the skinny girls but I always felt like the fat girl on the team. It never stopped me but I noticed. Even now, I do classes at the gym and look around & I am usually the only chubby girl there & I feel like these skinny B's look at me like---yeah, she can't keep up. Oh yes, I can. I'm just ready to finally finish & meet my goal. And really show what I can do.

I am eating between 1450-1650 calories a day. I try to work out twice a day or a total of 60-90 minutes. Either classes at the gym, cardio machines, or walking with my children. I push myself HARD when it comes to exercise. I need to learn to have a little bit of patience. Haven't done so yet. I really give it my all so I except big results every week & it doesn't always work that way. I know this but can't help but to feel disappointed at times.
I LOVE to excerise but it starts to become an obsession. I like to mix it up & try new things. Keep my body guessing.
Any & all group exercise classes. Keeps me motivated.
Just started running this year. I love it!! I never thought I would be a runner but I am. I run 5 days a week. Usually 3 miles. Just trying to work on my time. I will be taking a running class in March which leads to my first 5K in May.
My name is Tracy. I've been married for over 5 years now. We have two wonderful litlte boys.
We live about an hour outisde of Philadelphia.
I'm aiming for 10 pounds a month. I realize it is a lot. I did it before I know I can do it again.

Happy BELATED Birthday, DONE GIRL
The Capricorn child is "old" when young as she has a lot of responsibility and has to be serious. So, when Capricorn is old she gets to "be young at heart." The Capricorn woman gets along well with Virgo, Taurus, Pisces, Cancer and another Capricorn. The Scorpio man can be to controlling for her as she is a born leader. She makes a good business woman, designer, accountant, organizer or Team Leader. She is shy by nature, so she cares about how she appears to others. Her knees are her weak area and she can have stress headaches.
Capricorn is associated with the harshness of winter and its stark realities.
In Capricorn, the Sun is strongly goal-directed and persistent. Ambitious, serious and dedicated to duty, life is difficult, but you are the type of person who will triumph and achieve success. Your aptitude to persevere, no matter how difficult the road, sets you apart from most of your peers. You are anxious to climb the ladder of fortune, and you can usually reach your goals because of your sense of the right way of doing everything. Your patience is never ending.
You are a very thoughtful and serious person, thinking everything through carefully before you set off in any direction. You possess excellent reasoning skills, and you can be counted on to select options that are both practical and that provide an economic advantage. Your attitude is conservative; conservative with time, money, and all other resources. Your philosophy is waste not, want not. You are also likely to be conservative in your political and social attitudes, although your age, upbringing, and education perspectives may influence this somewhat.
You are especially well suited to business and government because of your sense of organization and structure. You combine a talent for management with an ability to carry out instructions with care. You are the quintessential careerist, taking job and duties very seriously. Therefore, you are never one to shirk responsibility and you have very little use for those that do. That which matters most to you is your public image. You show your best face to the public. You enjoy being in a position of power and authority, although you are not very much inclined to enjoy the limelight. You may prefer instead to run your business from an isolated perspective. You are loyal and dedicated, and you demand utter loyalty and dedication from subordinates. Advancing up the ladder of success is all important. You are unconcerned about, sometimes even ruthless toward, those getting in your path as you move upward.
You don't handle chaotic situations very well. You may need to develop the ability to lighten up a little and not take life, and everything else so seriously. Although you are self-disciplined, responsible, and practical, at times you can wallow in self-pity. It's essential for you to remember that your most important asset is self-esteem, and you should never devalue this. Rigidity and fear of change may be your biggest stumbling block.
Sober and reserved in your dealings with others, it takes you a good while to warm up enough to anyone to be considered a close friend. Yet once you do, you are a very caring, reliable, and most steadfast ally. Your private side is different from your public side. In private you are shy and sensitive. The harshness of your public image disappears. Emotionally demanding relationships are very difficult. Love relationships may be more like business relationships, and you are unsure of yourself in most intimate situations.
