Your little voice says - "I haven't heard from you- are you hiding your spark again?"

No, The judges gave us verbal comments- that is where the judges told my opponent that he should have know the cases better. But when i got my score sheet where the judges wrote down a number grade- his number was higher- with no explaination- In the category of knowledge of the cases and facts he got the same as me by one judge, higher than me by 1 point from another judge and lower then me by 2 points from the third judge. How can they yell at him and then write a higher score.
It was rigged, I am sure of it. One guy got a 12.5 for a total score from one judge and then a 68 and a 79.5 - how can 3 judges score so different if they are judging the same thing! It was all on how much the judge liked you. WHICH IS MY ISSUE.
If they are teaching Law(in a Christian School mind you) then the judging should be fair and by a set standard- not feelings and personal opinions.

I know this feeling. I emailed the top Professor today- and told him that I felt the judging of the court competitions were not fair and basically accused them of cheating. His reply was that it was a competition- and the judges opinions were going to stick as that is what competition is all about. Verbally I was told that I did better than my opponent and the opponent even got in trouble for not knowing the case- and then the written score he got higher than me! I don't understand it and asked for clarification- and was told it was a competition!
Anger in my head!
