So I found this site called model my diet and I think it is pretty neat. That's my first milestone.

My goal weight is 130 (might change it) What a difference that would be!

Kelsmay's Weight Loss Adventure

Hello everyone, you may call me Kelsmay... or Kels. May works too, I guess.

I am 26 years old and 242.2 lbs. I have decided to start with a clean slate here on Spark People. I plan on being heavily active and looking forward to tracking my progress and updating everyone with my results. I hope I can also support and encourage others to reach their goals as well.

My weight loss journey is going to begin with Focus T25, then roll into TurboFire after a week break. I am going to be doing a two week protein shake diet (I will still be incorporating solid foods like vegetables and fruits to keep my fiber up). After the protein diet, I am going to start portioning my food to make sure I get a balanced diet.

I am only making small goals at first, then changing it once I achieve it. For example, my first goal is to get to 220 lbs. Once I get to 220, I will make my goal 200. I am to try losing 20 lbs for each milestone until I reach my final goal. Breaking all my old habits is going to be hard, but I am beyond dedicated.

For a majority of my life I have been obese. My parents were the type who made me eat everything off my plate. Depression kicked in during my intermediate and middle school years of schooling and I had stopped eating which resulted in my body storing fat... I am tired of my current health and with diabetes and heart problems on both sides of my family, I can't continue to live this way.

I look forward to achieving my goals and becoming a healthier me! This is my weight loss adventure! Feel free to join it with me~!

Hi Kels! Forgot to comment on your page yesterday. Whoopsie. Didn't talk to you at all today but I hope you're doing great and still pushing towards your goal. I had fun on Saturday over at your place even though I was in tons of pain cause of 'that'. This week will be much better cause then I won't have 'that' anymore I hope!

Here's to a new us!

Hey Kels! So happy to hear you lost 5 lbs!! That is an awesome start to our lifelong journeys! I can't wait to see if I have lost anything tomorrow! Even if the scale doesn't move though, I am gonna keep on going! No more giving up cause the numbers aren't coming off or even if some come back on. Those little blips won't stop me! And if you ever come to the point where the numbers aren't going down, we'll just work harder together and push through it. Afterall, I don't think I could be this motivated without one of my best friends helping me along! emoticon

Forgot to comment yesterday! Sorry. I can't wait for Saturday when we can get together. I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully you'll be feeling a bit 'better' by then and we can do our workout together. Thank you for your encouraging words earlier when I was down. It really helped me feel motivated again and remember that I am only human. I make mistakes but I just got to keep going. One step back, two steps forward!

If you ever feel down or feel like you're having a hard time, just talk to me and we'll work it out. emoticon
