My Goals:
My goal is to continue losing my weight before I become incapacitated by my health. I am very mobile and am taking charge of my actions.

My Program:
I have been following Dr Bernstein diet and am down 47 pounds since Jan 1/15. I have about 23 pounds more I would like to lose, but would be happy losing 13 more.

Personal Information:
I have been separated for almost a year now after near 40 years of marriage. I have 3 wonderful sons and 7 grandchildren.

Other Information:
I enjoy camping(in a trailer of course), sewing, some knitting and reading. I recently got a Kobo ereader and am enjoying it. I enjoy books by Danielle Steele, Debbie McComber, Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts and weight loss and fitness articles.

Hope you are having a great week! Thank you for the spark goodie - Sunshine, well we have had non-stop sunshine for a month and a half now.. a little cloudy today, but this certainly makes up for our weather this spring. I've hardly been on here.. Just going up a lb or down a lb.. I may be a little frustrated but trying to focus on the positive of not gaining it back again. Talk to you soon, Sharon emoticon

Hi Thanks for the comment! WOW you have 35 pounds to lose, I have SO much more, but what I know is every single pound is an effort and so important! I wish you ALL the luck in the World!

I am doing Paleo too, I found a few things in the book different than what I am doing, I eat less fruit that ANY amount, when I eat too much fruit I do not lose weight as quickly, when I eat less fruit I lose more weight.
Today is day 85 for me! I feel so much better than I did pre Paleo! its my new food plan for good!

Hi there, thanks for your comment/spark goodie. Argggh.. I'm dreading my meeting tomorrow, though, as I've had a couple of functions this week that both had food at them and unfortunately I ate with "reckless abandon" and I'm way up, but oh well, it's always a new week and I'm already back on track so that is something. Was very very hard and took a very very long time to get into the 170's.. I'll prob be into the 60's in age before I reach my goal, but oh well.. didn't we say we are the slowest losers..

Thanks for commenting on my blog about mind wandering during long runs. Yes, long runs are good for thinking. Off topic, but related, I get that same mind wandering thing when washing my cars. (I always wash my own vehicles). Something about mindless labor freeing up the brain, I suppose. Sitting quietly does not do that.
