I suppose I fall into the same category as most people: I used to be super fit, but then let life get the best of me. Excuses, etc. Done now, I don't want to be skinny (let's be real, I love a good beer), but I want to be healthy because I simply feel better when I am eating the right way... which in turn gives me the energy to do anything and everything!
To be healthy and strong!
Elliptical resistance training 30 mins.
Upper body lifting 1 hour.
High Intensity Interval Training (treadmill) 30 mins.
Core and Lower body lifting 1 hour.
Elliptical or HIIT (I trade off) 30 mins.
Zumba on my wii 20 mins. (I don't put much pressure on this exercise since I go hard M-F)
Tracking every morsel I consume on my LoseIt app. while making smarter choices. (It helps to pre-plan my meals). I also let myself have a treat (if I can afford the calories)- I can't live without pizza, beer, and wings at least once in a while. :)
I'm a 30 year old New England chick. I love my boyfriend, my family, going to see live music, camping, exploring in the woods, floating on my back in the Atlantic down the Cape, reading, crossword puzzles, movies, playing in the snow, catching snow on my tongue (I will never be too old for that!), cooking, and occasionally, relaxing. :)
