At 40 yrs old I was at my heaviest (232 lbs) that was back in 2003, in 2007 had to quit job because excess weight had brought on plantar fascitis in both feet (walking became severely painful), shortly after I had a heart attack and spent several weeks on the Cardiac Care Ward...had to take 2 yrs off from working to recouperate. By Feb 2010 I had lost a total of 56 lbs (232 down to 176 lbs). Then tragedy struck again and we lost our youngest son in a car accident mid Feb 2010. With the shock and an leg injury my spouse endured we decided we would take transfers to another it has been a full year and I have gained all (plus extra) the weight back! Now I have been suffering from spinal pain (old car accident from early yrs) and have been seeing a chiropractor since Dec 2010. With a heart condition (daily meds needed) and my age creeping close to 50 I am desperate to get my life back on track.

It has been 6 months since I last followed the SP plan, I must have been doing something wrong (15 lbs in 5 mths) so I got discouraged, stopped following my plan and regained all the weight back :( Now I am starting on the Green HCG Protocol drops today. The food plan is superhealthy - 2 protiens, 2 fruit, 2 veggie, and 2 melba/crissinni breadsticks per day. Absolutely no fats or sugar and my HCG drops taken 3x per day.

I am now at 213.2 lbs that's a loss of 20.2 lbs in 23 days. I feel great, have plenty of energy and I need it cause I am now going to school full time as well (will graduate in Nov 2012)

New weight in today is 209.8 and I couldn't be happier, I haven't been this close to 200 lbs since 2010. My goal is to be 200 lbs by the end of my stage 2 HCG Protocol. Then I will gradually re-adjust my calories to 800 / day for 3 weeks to stabalize the loss I achieved. I am determined not to go back to the old habits of desserts, and take-out like before, the whole point to this diet/plan is to adjust to healthier (cleaner) eating habits and all the refined products we consume every day is not always good for you. Fresh fruit and veggies, healthful protiens, and whole grains are the most important food we can eat...high fat, processed foods should be consumed in minimal doses!!

My Program:
At present I am following the HCG Protocol Diet developed in the 1950's. It consists of liquid hormore drops placed under the tongue 3x / day and a strick 500 cal diet (2 each of fruits, veggie, protien and starch / day) I am also being closely monitored by my doctor as I do have a prevailant medical condition (heart disease)

    Although I am happy with the 15 lb loss that has taken me 4 mths and 21 days to do...I am not happy that I didn't loose at least 20 - 25 lbs just for following my diet and not getting to far off track.

    Well I took a week off from my diet...I am still aware of what I am eating and consciously choosing better foods, but did not keep any record of what I have eaten. Greg and I bought new runners and have started playing tennis for 1/2 to 1 hr, 2-3 days per week...we are enjoying this activity and have set a goal of 10 complete volies, haven't made this goal yet (made 7 complete volies so far)

    Time to work on that goal of 210 lbs by July 25th...that's only 7 lbs in 15 days I CAN DO IT emoticon
