It is my pure intention to be healthy and true to this one body I am given in this life. Balance is key, which means, contrary to what I've been doing, I have to exercise more often and eat in smaller doses. I have a tendency to binge on foods I love with the idea that "tomorrow is a new day." Unfortunately, this mentality has become routine for me and I am on a bad track. And speaking of track, I love to run so I WILL BE DOING THIS MORE OFTEN (she says mantra-like). No more excuses. Starting today.
I want to get back in tip top shape! Need to run more often (I used to do this daily) and stop eating sweets ALL THE TIME.

I LOVE food. Yes, I'm a major foodie. Especially the kinds that involve sugar. I bake often (I am a cake decorator on the side) and cook when I'm not too exhausted from work. I live in an area now where jogging isn't really an option outdoors and this really bums me out. Trying to focus on the benefits of a treadmill, with little success.
I love vacations. I live and breathe for them it seems.
My faith and my husband mean everything to me, both keep me going in this upside down world.

Oh, that's okay!!! As long as you check in once in a while, you will be forgiven .
I am doing pretty good!! Just got back from a wonderful vacation in Maui, managed to put on 4 lbs while there, but I had a blast doing it...lol!!! Didn't track anything there, and the food is so darn good everywhere you go, I couldn't help but lick my plate clean (not literally!!) everywhere we went...plus the food is so expensive I almost felt like I had to get my money's worth...oops!!
What about you? How are you doing with your runs/eating?? I am sure you are as stunning as ever!!! I am finding it hard to get back into a routine since I have been back...so tired and I want to eat everything!!! I'll get my groove back eventually ;)

Friend! I am SO jealous of your 80 degree weather! It's in the 20's here...better than super freezing though I guess. I forgot to tell you I bought Sammy's Hill, read a few chapters, misplaced it, and found it again! I'm reading something else now, but will have to finish that one!
My girlfriends and I kinda have a book club, but we're very random with our get togethers...we're all busy, and often make excuses of why we can't get together!
I'm so glad you've found something that works for you, and that motivates you! I wish I could run, but I'm just not a runner...oh well! I have stopped tracking kinda...I will post a few things to see if I'm kinda on target for the day, but I was getting so consumed with protein/carbs that it was taking way TOO much time. Life is good right now, it's much easier to just eat how I want to eat, BUT making conscious choices even if I don't always want to!

So glad you're back friend! I've been kinda lame as far as Spark goes...super busy with work, and just don't have the time that I used to. I love reading other people's blogs, rarely comment on them because I don't have the time to always write back though! BUT, I make exceptions for my super, special friends! How have you been?
I just got done reading The Room...it's super good! I just finished The Girl Who Played With Fire too, and just need the last book to finish out the trilogy!
PS...totally looking forward to spring! Can't wait for flip flops!
