Two steps forward, One step back...
HI! I turned 40 last summer, and I'm trying to still be hot. I was hot when I was 30, but I've been very un-hot in between. I did LA Weight loss for 1½ years, but I never hit my goal. I lost over 50 lbs. and came really close, but since then I met and married my dear husband, and I got away from some of the good habits I had made. He's all about eating healthy and exercising, but we both tend to be a little lazy if we allow ourselves to be unmotivated. We have a basement full of fitness ...
HI! I turned 40 last summer, and I'm trying to still be hot. I was hot when I was 30, but I've been very un-hot in between. I did LA Weight loss for 1½ years, but I never hit my goal. I lost over 50 lbs. and came really close, but since then I met and married my dear husband, and I got away from some of the good habits I had made. He's all about eating healthy and exercising, but we both tend to be a little lazy if we allow ourselves to be unmotivated. We have a basement full of fitness equipment, including the treadmill DH gave me a year ago. So, I have no excuse. I love the motivation I get from everyone here on SP! This last summer, DH and I worked hard on getting our yard and garden in, and I got down almost 20 lbs. But when the seasons changed, so did my fitness - for the worse... I actually made it through the holidays without gaining a pound; but then I got a new job, and I've put on almost 10 pounds in only 6 weeks! We're doing a Biggest Loser challenge at my office, and I know I will lose at least the "required" 10 % in three months, but I plan to keep losing even more and reach my goal of 150. Maybe I'll be the office's Biggest Loser!

My Goals:
I'd really like to lose 20 lbs by May or June. I gotta get into all my Spring/Summer clothes!
My Program:
Nutrition Currently DH and I are starting a Raw Foods diet. As with our Clean Eating, I imagine we'll eat about 80 or 90% raw. Fitness My goal is to do at least 30 min on the treadmill at least 3 days a week. I do a combination of running at 4 mph and walking at 3.5 mph, trying to mimic the intervals program I used to use at the gym.
Personal Information:
I live in Northern Utah and work as an admin asst at a software company. Almost all of DH's children are grown and have little ones, so I became a grandmother when I married him in September '07. The babies and kids in the pics are my GRANDCHILDREN, not my children. I never had any of my own; but it's okay, 'cause I never was baby hungry. I love the grandkids - if they fuss, I can give 'em back! LOL
