I've been off and on Spark People since 2009. I got back on in Aug 2012 and finally reached my goal weight on November 25, 2012.

Now is the hard part for me, staying active and continuing to eat healthy. It would be so easy for me slip back into my couch potato, snacking habits!

Hi Kellie - thanks for commenting on my blog. As far as the scoliosis, yeah, I knew a couple girls who wore those braces. My brother has it pretty severely, but I'm hopeful that my son's will not progress. We shall see...

Hope all goes well with your dad - I had gall bladder surgery and they do it laproscopically these days, speeds up the healing. So don't worry, he'll be fine!
