Hi there, I returned to Spark People in June of 2014 and have changed my life drastically ever since.

I reached my goal weight of 130lbs on October 6th then reset my goal weight to 120lb which I achieved on November 22nd.

I reset my goal to 115lbs for a final goal and am presently at 112lbs with a BMI of 20.5

Since returning, I have remained focused on my goals and look to my future as a lean and healthy senior who shall live past my 100th birthday. ...

I feel more confident, energized, younger, stronger and healthier than ever.

I have set new goals for myself to become a runner by June of 2015 and to developing my muscles so I can look toned and lean.

I WILL REACH MY GOALS! ....nothing can STOP Me!

cardio 60 minutes 6-7 days per week

walking/running 3-4 times week
8+ cups water daily

stay within calories

no snacking after dinner

15-30 minutes 5X per week

remain focused on the positive and on my goals daily


Personal Information:
My name is Susan and
I am 62 years young. I plan on living until I am 103 years so I am working on staying as healthy as I can through Spark People.

I am married to my soul mate Brian and have been for 37 years . We have 4 adult children and 4 grown grandchildren and we are the proud owners of 3 beautiful dogs and 4 wonderful cats that we rescued last summer..

I love to do world travel with my husband and I also enjoy reading a good mystery or crime novel.

I find that power walking is the greatest way for me to de-stress and I love it!

Outside of my home commitments, I am dedicated to my 81 year young mother who is also my best friend. We spend at least 2 days a week together doing all sorts of fun things.

Other Information:
When I was in high school 1966-1970 I was on the gymnastics team so every year on my birthday I stand on my head to prove that I still have it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your kind comment. While I doubt if I ever run a marathon like you emoticon I will be happy to walk more than I do now without pain and the fear of falling. I will keep exercising and following what I learn here on Spark People and from Spark Friends as I keep on Sparking!

Well, we're still a long ways away from having enough (we have to raise $350,000), but at least we're getting there, and raising 1500. at one fundraiser is going to help tremendously!

I'm so excited. I know once we get those design plans we will have a lot more coming in..just have to be patient.
