I am 60 years old, married. and have one adult daughter. I serve as adoption coordinator and general "jack of all trades" for a no-kill animal shelter. My purpose in life is to help homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. My goal is to become physically fit and lose 94 pounds so I can continue to take care of the dogs as I get older. I am a follower of Christ and believe God has called me to take care of his animals--it is a privilege to serve God by ministering to them.

I live in the southern U.S.
I am 60 years old and my passion is animal rescue. My primary focus is on dog rescue, but I love all animals. I used to rescue guinea pigs and served as a mentor to new guinea pig owners. At this time, however, my work with dogs at the shelter takes up so much time that I have had to narrow my focus.
Besides all the shelter animals and my foster dogs, I am owned by 9 dogs and a grumpy cat.
