Personal Information:
I am a stay-at-home mom of a 2 1/2 year old little boy and married to the most wonderful man I know. I was an elementary teacher before my son came along and loved my job. My husband was relocated almost two years ago and I haven't been able to get a teaching job since. So...I've just been hanging out at home. For a long time, I was really disappointed, depressed, angry and every other negative emotion I could come up with for not having been able to pick up where I left off in my career. However, lately, I've joined the local Moms Club and made some new friends in our area. I'm starting to enjoy my stay-at-home status and really appreciating how blessed I am to have this opportunity to be able to stay home with my little guy. Now that I'm feeling a little more postive, I'm hoping to move forward with getting healthy again.

Have you changed your workout lateley? Sometimes you have to shock your body to remind it. When I get stuck, I also keep track of EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. Don't give up! emoticon

hi, congratulations on becoming a mom. i know it's hard you feel like you lose you own identiy and are just the mother of the baby. you have the right idea about feeling good insteadof staying focused on the food. it's truly a balance and i'm sure you will do great. thanks for adding me as a friend. melissa
