    Welcome to the Cycling group KC. Set a goal for getting a certain number of miles each week and exceed it sometimes and you will be pleased with what you can do. I've gotten my husband to enjoy the biking and going longer distances on country roads. The difference was when he did a group ride (he didn't want to) and we all stop for breakfast. He found out that there were many bikers there with bigger bellies than his. His has gone down considerably.
