    emoticon for stopping by my 10K blog and for the spark goodie. It was so encouraging to hear from you. I rejoice that we are still on this journey together. You are one of the first people I found when I joined SP, and so many of the others are no longer here. Love that you are still working hard.

    Biking is good exercise. Sometimes I get a "hankering" to bike. But I don't have a bike and everywhere I could bike from home, I have hills, real hills!!! And realistically, I don't think I would take my bike somewhere to ride.

    If you are really interested in walking, I recommend Jeff Galloway's book: "Walking The Complete Book" He also has books on running and I'm not ready for that. But I wish I had the book 12 weeks ago when I started training for the 10K. 6.2 miles is about at the limit of my endurance right now. I'm not going to push it fast, but I'm going to keep pushing. Maybe I can run a half marathon some day.

    Thank you for commenting on my blog - my primary drug is food for sure, that was why it was relatively easy to give up the alcohol - and if I had your habits of drinking I would not had given it up at all... but i tend to obsess with almost everything and it is much easier to let it go then...
