It's time to get real! I'm kidding myself thinking I can eat or not eat and still lose weight. In July my husband and I had a real wake up call. We decided to change our lifestyle. We had been eating very poorly. He was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and had dropped 30 lbs in a matter of weeks. He's down 60 now. I'm fortunate, because the disease runs in both sides of my family So since July 2015 I have been on a bit of a roller coaster with my weight. I weighed 140 lbs, I lose and I gain lose and gain, and most of that is due to a medical issue. But... My doctor is helping me, and I am hopeful that the medical issues will have a resolution in the near future. I now weigh 208. My first goal was to lose 40 lbs. I can happily say I am half way there! Then I will set goal number 2, then three and so on. I think smaller goals will be more manageable! Wish me luck!
