I've failed a million diets, now it's time for a lifestyle change!

Setting new goals as of 09/24/2009

1st Mini Goal - Lose 10 pounds and maintain the loss (222 lbs). **Goal achieved 10/27/2009.

2nd Mini Goal - To lose a total of 15 pounds. **Goal achieved 12/01/2009.

3rd Mini Goal - To lose a total of 22 pounds (210 by 12/24/2009).

4th Mini Goal - To decrease my fat % by 5% (from 37% to 32%).

5th Mini Goal - To ...

1st Mini Goal - Lose 10 pounds and maintain the loss (222 lbs). **Goal achieved 10/27/2009.

2nd Mini Goal - To lose a total of 15 pounds. **Goal achieved 12/01/2009.

3rd Mini Goal - To lose a total of 22 pounds (210 by 12/24/2009).

4th Mini Goal - To decrease my fat % by 5% (from 37% to 32%).

5th Mini Goal - To make it under the 200 mark and have lost a total of 32 pounds.

6th Mini Goal - Lose a total of 42 pounds and be 10 pounds away from goal.

7th Mini Goal - Reach goal weight of 180 and a total loss of 52 pounds and out of the obese BMI range (29).

8th and final Goal - Eventually, I would like to be at what I see as a healthy weight of 150, and be in the "healthy" BMI range of 18-25.

My Goals:
To lose 50+ pounds by achieving my mini goals, get in shape, and be overall healthier.

My Program:
Exercising at least 3 times a week, hopefully daily, increasing my fruit/vegetable intake, and decreasing my portion size. I have to have sweets, but I hope to gain some control over that and eat something sweet within reason.

My reward, other than losing weight, being fit, and really healthy, is a charm for my bracelet. I have a chamilia bracelet I got as an anniversary present. Every 10 pounds, I plan to buy myself the glass murano bead to keep me motivated and remind myself of how far I've come.

Personal Information:
I've been married to a wonderful man since 2004. I'm pretty crafty, and love to watch movies.

Hi! It's great hearing from you. I started the PEIA program at the end of April, so I am starting my 6th month. I get weighed and measurements on Friday. I have lost pounds and inches each month!!!! I hope I have lost weight this month. The trainers phase is over now and I'm on my own now at the gym. The trainers kicked my butt in the workout sessions. I'm not losing as much on my own. I know I need to try to push myself harder at the gym. Thinking it and doing it are definitely 2 different things. Hang in there! It is definitely worth it!!!

I lost another 1/2 pound. I guess that's good since I ate two pieces of cake and ice cream (low fat) and some fudge this week.
