Menomonee Falls Mom!

Hi! My name is Michele and I am a thirty-something wife and mom looking to drop off some of my extra weight. I felt like I was at my optimum just before having my daughter, but with the stress of a new baby and the move to a new house, unhealhy eating habits seemed to take control.

I am active in my church being part of the RCIA (Rite of Chistian Initiation) team, and also belong to a local knitting group.

Mostly I work and come home to take care of my family:)

Thanks for your blog comments. I started running in March of 2009. I ran my first half marathon in September 2009. I ran on and off after the race, and then started training for a full marathon in 2011. I ran the full marathon in San Francisco that year. I hurt my hip in that run, so took a year off not running much for a while. I walked a half marathon in Las Vegas last December - my hip was siezed and I was barely able to move. But it was my son's first race ever, so I decided to start the race with him. I kept walking until the car that picks up the injured showed up to get me - it never did. It took me almost 4 hours, but I made it. This year I signed up for another half marathon. I am running in September.
