I just had to take one of those cliche "old pants" photos :)

KBERG27 is a SparkPeople Motivator!
Hey everyone, I'm Krista. I'm a 22 year-old pharmacy student who pretends that I like to run and probably enjoys food just a little too much ;) Over the last two years, I've lost 115 lbs and am still going. Check out my blog to learn more about me and my story: www.healthyberg.com
Weight: 154 lbs = healthy BMI of 24.9
Final goal weight: 135
Finish a 5K (done! July 2010)
Finish a 10K
Run a 5K (outside) in 30 minutes
Complete a bike race (at least 30 miles)
One a good day, I eat around 1500-1600 calories. I love oatmeal, cereal, egg whites, grilled chicken, tilapia, green beans, brocolli, carrots, yogurt, berries, bars (Larabars, Cascadian Farms, Kashi, and Clif are my faves), nuts & seeds (almonds, walnuts, pecans, peanuts, sunflower seeds), and dried cherries. Oh, and I could not live without Amy's brand frozen pizzas, spinach & feta pockets, and cheddar cheese burritos.
Exercise: I work out 5 days a week. One of those days my workout is a 30 minute spinning class. The other four days I do a mix of lifting (approx. 30-40 min 3 times a week) and running (1.5-3 miles 2-3 times a week). I am also doing the 200 sit-ups and 100 push-ups challenge (see my blog).

Seeing what you have done is a motivator for me to get up and do something about my weight. I have been slowly taking it off with a change in eating habits and the amount of walking/sweating I do at work. I had to start looking at more than just numbers on the scale. I put on a pair of size 18 pants that I was fitting into a month ago and they are too big now. Going to be shopping for new clothes soon since I did get rid of many things that did not fit me for over a year. I have a goal to be in a size 12/14 by spring of 2013. I am hoping for the best and will be really happy if it happens sooner.
