Glad to hear you are on board with the spring challenge. I just finished the first 10-minute exercise video. Not bad at all, though I can't do jumping jacks, so a modification was in order there. Yeah, I'm thinking the bikini is definitely out. Even if I was a twig, at my age it would be a sin to expose that much flesh before unsuspecting eyes. emoticon

Thinking of you and wishing you and your family a blessed Easter!

Well, sorry to hear it, but we all have those weeks. The thing that is going to make you successful is to ride out the valleys and stick with the plan. As of Friday I will have been with SP for a month and I can honestly say the plan works and I'm not even doing a lot of cardio. Because the weather still stinks I've just been doing 30 min. on the elliptical at a hospital rehab place 3 days a week and getting an occasional walk in (maybe 2 times a week?). The funny thing is, that 5k is Saturday and I haven't trained for it. I just assume I can do it. I did walk 3.2 miles on the treadmill one day and it was no big deal, but I know outdoors is MUCH tougher. If the weather is decent I'll give it a go and let you know what a fool I make of myself. Overall, sounds to me like you need to start making yourself a priority. It's tough when you are focused on family, but you are the only person that can take care of your health. I've spent the past 20 years not doing that, and my body has taken a real toll. What a blessing to be a member of a Y! Take advantage of it and you will soon be climbing mountains. emoticon

Not so good - went up 3 lbs..... weekend was not kind to me and I didn't get in any good cardio work.. Don't have a treadmill at home and had no time to get to the Y.
