Welcome to my page! If you've tried and failed at weight loss, as I have - WELCOME TO THE CLUB!! I have lost and gained the same 20 pounds over the years. I'm back at it, hopefully for the last time, ready to commit over the long haul. I can get this done if I accept a few absolutes:

1. There is no magic bullet to weight loss.

2. Just as I've invested in putting this weight on, I've got to invest in taking it off.

3. I didn't put this weight on overnight; it's not coming off overnight.

4. I'm worth every workout, every nutritious snack, every moment of "me" time because I'm the only "me" I've got.

5. If I fail to plan, then I've planned to fail.

6. The only fitness routine that absolutely doesn't work is the one I don't do.

7. I care about me - this simple truth fuels everything else I do.

***PLEASE NOTE: I ONLY COMPLETE MY NUTRITION TRACKER ON WEEKDAYS. I ONLY TRACK FITNESS ON SATURDAYS - I DO NOT TRACK ANYTHING ON SUNDAYS!!!***

Fitness Minutes: 3,084

My Goals:
I will reach my goal weight of 165lbs by July 17, 2012 - just 4 days before my wedding. Total weight loss will be 100 pounds.


My Program:
1. Consume 1330-1700 calories per day.

2. 30 min on the arc trainer 3 days per week, alternating with strength training at least twice per week. 10,000 steps on weekends, measured with pedometer.

3. Drink 10-12 glasses of water every day.

4. Consume @ least 5 servings of fruits & vegetables every day.

5. Spread those calories out amongst 3 meals and @ least 2 snacks.

6. 8 hours of sleep every night.

7. Reward myself for getting daily cardio with a long, hot, candlelit bubble bath - also serves as "me" time.

8. Say something positive to myself about myself every day that my eyes open.

9. Don't give up - no matter what.

10. Find healthy substitutions for the things I really want to have.

11. After my evening bath, go to bed in my workout clothes.



Personal Information:
My starting weight was actually 276lbs!!!!!

By the time I found SP, I was at 268lbs.
