Hi, I'm Kaz. :)

Hi, I'm Kaz. I'm 32, a teacher, and have been on and off a diet for most of my adult life. Several years ago, I lost 48.2 pounds, getting me down to 214.8. Since then I've gained 20 or so of it back. I will lose that 20 again and keep on going!

I also have a goal of doing a 5K. I'm training with the virtual 5K on Spark now and once I can actually run the whole thing, I will sign up for a REAL one.

My Goals:
- Get off blood pressure medicine.
- Get triglycerides down to normal levels.
- Get cholesterol down to normal levels.
- Get 10k steps a day.
- Increase whole grains, lower sodium intake.

My Program:
Tracking what I eat, being careful about portion sizes, cooking from scratch and exercising!

Other Information:
I love reading, writing, sewing, knitting/crocheting, and crafting. As none are very active hobbies, I will use them as reward for myself for after I've exercised at least 10 minutes a day.

I'm doing about the same as you! OK, not bad, not great. I'm getting my workouts in, but haven't been tracking my food. Better than nothing, but gotta work my way back to where I need to be!
