Whatever the problem is, the answer is not in the fridge.

I'm constantly trying to find the willpower to eat healthier and to follow an exercise program on a regular basis. It doesn't take long before I get off track. I don't know what keeps holding me back. Why do I work hard to reach a certain point and then find my way back to the starting line over and over again?

I want to make 2015 the year to move forward, reach my goals and no more sliding back.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES

You have three choices in life: Give up, give in, or give it all you’ve got.

When it comes to your dreams and goals, be too positive to be doubtful, too optimistic to be fearful, and too determined to be defeated.

Remember, your worst attempt is always 100% better than a person who never tries at all.

It's not what you do every once in a while; it's what you dedicate yourself to on a daily basis that makes the difference.

You have to be courageous and wise enough to know that if what you are doing isn’t producing the desired results, you must take different actions.

The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Give yourself a healthy weight pep talk today:

Whenever I sit down to eat, I am determined to achieve my goal. By never giving in and eating right, I will reach my healthy weight.

I really enjoy eating less, whether in a restaurant or at home. I don’t have to finish the food in front of me anymore. I eat what I should and never one bite more.

When there is less food on my plate, there is less food on my fork. By ordering less when I eat out and giving myself small portions at home, it keeps me aware of staying with my goal each day. Less on my plate means less on my waist.

I will not allow anyone to influence, tempt, or discourage me in any negative way. Reaching my goal is up to me. No one has the right to control my success.

I am losing weight for my own reasons; for my life, my future, my personal health. No one will tempt me to take one more bit than I should. I am strong. I can reaching my goal.

A lot of food in front of me is no longer a problem. I just say no to the food and yes to my success.

I enjoy sitting down to eat because it gives me time to conquer my past and create a more active, self-confident, and healthier future.

I don’t need someone else to remind me of my goal or to keep me from eating something I shouldn’t. I’m responsible for myself and my body. No one can do it for me.

It’s easy for me to control my weight and appetite now. I enjoy smaller portions and smaller bites. I eat slower and am more relaxed in every way.

I am healthier.

Mealtime is achievement time for me."

Just a little progress

Even just a little progress, is progress. Even the smallest step forward is very much worth taking, because it maintains a positive momentum.

If you’re not moving ahead as fast as you’d like, don’t get discouraged. Get creative, get inspired, get focused and get truly enthusiastic about the direction you’re going.

Then, take the next step, and keep yourself moving steadily toward the goal. Remind yourself that even when you’re going slowly, you’re going solidly in the direction you’ve chosen.

Yes, the setbacks will certainly come, and when they do, you’ll know exactly how to quickly recover because you’ve been doing it all along. Get back up, face forward, and take the next step.

Even if it were possible, you wouldn’t want all your dreams to be fulfilled at once. It’s far more satisfying to savor each milestone as it comes, and to know that there will be many more.

Spend this day celebrating, enjoying and making use of your chance to make a little progress. Feel how great it feels to continue moving forward.

For Christmas

May you have joy
in the mad rush
of preparation;

May you know peace
in the tiny margins
of time around
the busy days;

May you have star-shine
in clear night skies
for looking at;

May you have silence
now and then;

and, above all –

beyond all else –

May you have love
to give
and to receive.

(Elizabeth Searle Lamb)

Merry Christmas!

Never Quit.

If you stumble, Get Back Up.

What happened yesterday No Longer Matters.

Today’s another day, so get back on track, stay on track, and move closer to your dreams and goals.

YOU CAN DO IT!
