What a difference a year can make...
It has been a little over a year since I have been on SparkPeople and in that time I had a beautiful baby girl and changed careers. I am now ready to get back into shape so that I can be a good role model to my daughter and kick some major butt in my new career!

Why Is It Important for ME to Eat Right and Work Out???

1. It is the best "anti--depressant". Whenever I am feeling down or overly stressed I know it is because I haven't been taking care of my body, mind and spirit.

2. I have more confidence in myself. I feel sexier for my husband and am not self conscious about how I look when hanging out with friends. My husband doesn't have to endure my "breakdowns" when I can't find anything to wear when we go out with friends.

3. It helps me be a "Rock Star" at work!. I am sharper when I am eating right and working out, I have an easier time managing my stress and I have the energy to give 110%.

What are my Top Two Weaknesses?

1. Food, Food, Food! I love to eat and do pretty good at eating healthy for short bursts of time but then I get lazy and start eating poorly again. I have a very difficult time eating healthy when I eat out and considering that a big portion of my job involves wining and dinning... this proves to be a bit challenging!

2. Consistency! I am so good at planning out my "Get Healthy Plan", sticking to it for a few weeks and then letting life get in the way. I have had great moments of consistency before and want to change this "bad habit" of mine.

Overall Goals for 2010!
* Loose 20 to 25 pounds - get rid of the baby weight!
* Track food in SparkPeople
* Eat clean - incorporate more vegetables and fruit into my diet
* Start running again and complete at least 1 Half marathon

My Program:
This is the longest I have ever gone without working out and am in the worse shape of my life. It is going to be a long painful process getting back into shape but it will be worth it!
