Making Changes!

Finished college and then jumped into the busy reality of working full-time. Luckily being a nurse is physically demanding so I lost some weight from staying on my feet. I want to start tracking and exercising again to get healthy and make it a part of my life permanently.

Finish Couch to 5K
Run a 5K
Run a 5 miler
Run a 10K
Run a half marathon
Compete in a duathlon
Compete in an iron girl (triathlon)- which I will have to take swim lessons for because I am not a strong swimmer :/

I WILL REACH THESE GOALS!! I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED SO MUCH AND I KNOW I CAN DO ANYTHING I SET MY MIND TO!

WEIGHT LOSS GOALS:

Lose 5 pounds (COMPLETED 7/2/2010)
Lose 10 pounds
Lose 15 pounds
Lose 20 pounds
Lose 25 pounds
Lose 30 pounds and reach my goal weight!

My Program:
I am trying to eat better and incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I am also trying to be good about tracking what I eat.

I am doing the couch to 5k 3 times a week, doing various exercise videos, riding my road bike and some gym stuff. I try to do a mix of things to keep everything interesting.

Ahhhhhh I'm so excited! And the other day I was wondering if you were still on here or not. It feels nice to be back huh!! That's how I feel :)). Nursing is ehhhh right now haha. I'm stil working at getting all of my grades to solid As or Bs before I apply to any nursing program...might take me two more semesters. How is everything for you??

After Wk9, I have a 5 week plan laid out to work on my speed for my 5k in October. I will do my first 3.1 miles tomorrow, but it will probably take me 40 minutes! My goal is to do my 5k in Oct in 34 minutes!

Kayli you are already on the right track and are doing so well even THINKING about the goals you want to have in life. A week of weird habits will not break you, just make you stronger, and you know that. Good to-do list for upcoming weeks!! I'm so proud of myself for not drinking my first week of college and you will be too when you commit to it...you get to sit back and watch all the fun unfold. or you can still join in!! Have an AWESOME weekend girl...let's make it a goal to exercise for at least 30 minutes tomorrow and Sunday...woohoo!!
