My Goals:
When I found out that I was pregnant I weighed 125 and due to feeling sick 2 weeks straight when I was 3 months pregnant I got down to 119. The day I came home from the hospital with our daughter I weighed 152. I felt so fat because I had never been over 130. Instead of dwelling on how much I weighed I did something about it. In 3 months I got down to 125. I lost all that weight by eating less. The only exercise I did was strength training. In about 1 1/2 years I gained to weight back. Yes it stayed off for 1 1/2 years! Within about 6 months I went from 125 to 188. I had a hereditary chemical imbalance in my brain that put me in a deep state of depression so all I wanted to do was eat. It took about a year for my doctors to get me on the right medication. After everything was straightened out I felt like my old self again. Its taken since the end of December 2009 til now to go from 188 to 167 but the way I look at it is it's better than gaining!
Other Information:
One thing that I am extremely proud of is that I am turning 21 September 21 and I have never in my life drank or smoke. I have not even tried it. I was pushed a lot with pure pressure but it didn't bother me. In fact I got into a fight (no hitting) my freshman year of high school with a guy because I didn't want to go to his house and smoke weed. Lol I know that's so sad right? Well mentioning that i hope to be an inspiration to young ones and adults alike. To everyone that wants to quit smoking, drinking, or drugs. Remember one thing I always say get high off life. A natural high is the best feeling ever. Yes my whole family, both sides were alcoholics at one time or another, especially my dad which has been sober for over 10 years. Although he still smokes cigarettes. He is so lucky to be alive there is times that he will smoke four packs a day. His father (my Grandpa) passed away at age 50 from lung cancer. My Dad is now 54 so far he isn't following in his father's foot steps.
