My name is Kate.
I'm 25 years old.
I have a 2 year old son, born Oct 27th, 2007.
I love him, he is my world, and the reason I do anything now. Including weight loss, as he made me gain a lot. lol
As for me, I am simple, yet crazy.
I am an adreneline junkie.
I'm tattooed, I'm pierced, I have my own way of thinking.

I love snowmen, pizza, and a good laugh.

I gained 85lbs during my pregnancy, and only have approximately 5 to lose! Im almost there! I changed my goal of 120 to 125. I don't feel I need to lose anymore weight, really, according to scale.
But my BMI needs to change. I am at approximately 22 for my BMI. I want to get it to 18.

Obtained!!! [I am here to lose this weight, get into my old clothes, feel better about myself, and get healthy.]

I want to be comfortable in my own skin, look good in a bikini again, and live my life normally.
I want to be able to eat a bag of chips, and not feel guilty, knowing that I will be active enough to maintain my goal weight, once I reach it.
I want to be able to have the weekend out, and eat nothing but junk food, and have a drink or two, knowing that its fine and its not breaking my fitness plans.
I am excited to get back to my goal weight, and live my life the way I should be! :)

My future goals:
1) Run 5k by September. I have all winter to train to get my cardio up, then come spring, I will start running outside to get to my 5k goal.
2) Be able to keep up with my son! He tires me out after only 5 or 10 minutes of chasing him around. lol
3) Run a 10k by summer of 2010.
4) Obtain a physical and have my numbers run great!
5) BMI of 18.
6) To start yoga again, to increase my flexibility. I dont want to be so stiff!
7) I want my abs to really show!
8) To do the splits again!!!!

My Goals:
To lose these last 5lbs, to tone up, maybe get rid of the extra skin from having the baby. lol
To become healthy, to be happy with myself, and to be able to keep up with my son!

I also want to be able to run 10K. It would be amazing!

And my husband and I want to take dance classes! Thats gonna be fun!

My Program:
Right now, I do at home exercises.
I chase my two year old son around, I do pushups, bicycle crunches, and use my exercise bike at home.
I use free weights for exercises, watch what I eat, and record as often as possible, what I do eat. I also try to get in more exercise whenever I can, by walking, etc.

Personal Information:
I'm from Nova Scotia, have a 2 year old son, am usually fit and healthy. I love extreme sports!

I am looking forward to cliff jumping again this summer, as well as biking, and training to get back into playing soccer.

I am also looking forward to looking good in a bikini again! Having only one year where I could wear one, then getting pregnant for the summer after that.
This summer, its all out!
I cannot wait!


Other Information:
Hmmm, lets see.
I'm a fan of spontaneity. I love to just get up and do something, although it is very hard to do now, with a baby! lol
I like to mix things up a bit, in my life, but I also enjoy routine, for the most part!
I'm a fan of art, I love tattoos, and piercings.
I am just excited to be healthy.
