ready for a life change
SPARK! That flash of energy you see when you've let yourself go to the point where action needs to be taken. I'm here to SPARK myself, to loose this damn weight because I'm too young and pretty to be fat! I'm here to SPARK myself, to loose this damn weight because I'm too young and pretty to be fat! How in the Hell I go to the fat point, well I can't say I don't know how because I do, through my mouth. Important lesson learned here is 1 minute on the lips equals years on the hips. Damn my love for food....mmmm comfort food. Nothing gives you the feeling comfort food does, especially curled up on the couch not giving a crap about what happens. You feel safe and relaxed and OK. comfort food is one hell of a sweet evil. I've got 30 lbs to drop. I cant believe it, I never even thought my little body could ever be more then 15lbs over. I can't say I'm fully motivated yet though. Yesterday I tried to watch what I eat( I fell victim to 2 snickerdoodle cookies that a coworker verbally stuffed down my throat.) BUT i also went right home to TAEBO cardio, which literally kicked my ass. It ok though because even though towards the end my kicks with 4 inces off the ground, I still finished the whole routine :) and the pep talk Billy gave me was very comforting :) I like billy. Onwards I sall go with this journey along with the gajillion other things in my life. If i give up on anything what kind of quality of life is that? Giving up.. PSHHHH. Today my stuggle is staring at a 7 layer bar ( why do people feel the need to bring their evil yummy leftovers to the seditary coworker whom are already trying to battle a muffintop?....ugh. Keep the sugar at home for your kids!) It's so hard to say NO! 30lbs , 4 months? GO MEEE YAY MEEE, im fat now but GO MEEE

My Goals:
Like a lot of people I want 2013 to be transformation for me both physically and mentally. I have a lot of major goals I want to accomplish... #1 being my weight and health- I want to lose 30lbs and be able to maintain a 120 weight the healthy way. #2 Is putting a huge dent in my never ending degree. # 3 is doing the best I can at work and proving my skills for a promotion in the future. #4 is to create an overall happy lifestyle and state of mind, to be more content with my life and grateful for the people and things I have, to be an optimistic person who inspires others. 2013- It’s never too late! Here we go!

REWARDS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS !!lose 5 lbs- 1st GOAL DOWN!!New workout shoes (DONE!) -!!Lose 10lbs-DOUBLE DIGIT WEIGHTLOSS!! New face/hair care and make up shopping at ULTA -lose 15lbs-!! 1/2 WAY THERE!!SPA DAY! -lose 20 lbs-!!SO CLOSE!! Hair appointment! -!!lose 25 lbs-!!ALMOST THERE!! Time for new wardrobe lose 30 lbs- GOAL!- VACATION TIME!!!!!! Eating health and balanced while also incorporating exercise. I've recently found Zumba through Wii which I love doing at home. I've been doing daily research on the best way to stay fit so I'm hoping to incorporate some strenght exercising soon at the gym with some machines. I also will commit to taking my dogs for longer walks everyday.

My name is Kavita :) I come from a Guyanese background ( Indian decent)where we eat a lot of curries and with a side of carbs. I was born in Wisconsin and moved around a lot until settling here in florida!
Other Information:
I really like hearing about other peoples success and tips they have that could help me. I'm someone who like immediate results so healthy weightloss is a challenge for me as the results are very slow. Any support or advice is more then welcome!
