2013 The year of big changes for this kat

I used to run in elementary school and was good at it. Until family interfered with my success. I was always the skinny girl in school, so skinny that they made fun of me because I didn't look like the rest of the girls. You know the curves, they didn't show for me until I was just about out of school. I tried everything to gain weight, even eating chocolate bars for breakfast. Then miraculously I wasn't that skinny girl anymore I was over weight. Those bad habits did help me gain weight, but ...

Then miraculously I wasn't that skinny girl anymore I was over weight. Those bad habits did help me gain weight, but damage was done. I have my curves now and more.

Now I must work on getting that off again. Funny thing is I want to be that skinny girl again. Can I do that again? Well that is why I am here.

July 3 Ran 5k in 28:44

10k run 55:30
October 3 2009 Run for the Cure 5K. Raised over $1100 towards research for breast cancer.

May 30 2010 Run FIrst half marathon. Chip time 2:12:31
June 5 2010 Underwear Affair 10k run in memory of my dad.
May 29 2011 Calgary half marathon chip time 2:08:30

Due to an unplanned, but very wanted pregnancy, I had to put my running plans on hold during 2012.
Jan 4 2013 our lil peanut arrived! Who knew you could love someone so much right away.

Being on restricted income during my maternity leave I am not sure if I will be getting any races in this year. I do however plan on doing many activities with baby to keep fit and lose the baby weight. Running, walking, and swimming.

Sounds yummy!!! I have been limting dairy and gluten for about a month just to see how things are. On my cheat days, I usually have Mexican food from a restaurant, so that means lots of chips and cheese dip. When we do fajitas here at the house, we don't use dairy cheese, only veggie and corn tortillas. I also limit that and usually have one rolled up and then eat the veggies, veggie cheese and chicken without it.

Have you tried Ezekiel,Food For Life products? I half the English muffins and make a lot of mini "pizzas" for me and Court. She LOVES them! Organic tomato sauce, veggie cheese, lots of veggies of your choice and there you go. YUM!
